If Only
If we could all just get along,
What a peaceful place this world would be.
No crime or wars, no murderers.
Pure serenity.
If we could all just lend a hand
Less would be in need.
We wouldn't be in such despair,
Sunken by our greed.
If we could open up our hearts,
And show compassion, instead of hate.
If we could do just some of these things,
This nation would be great.
