If Only

If only things were different,
And my days with you weren't spent
If only I had made the right choice,
Then I would still hear your voice
If only I could go back in time,
Maybe you would still be mine
If only I didn't often tihink of you,
And the love that I once knew
If only I was granted one single day,
I'd give my love to you all the way
If only we hadn't parted long ago,
Our love might blossom and still grow


This was written when I was thinking about an ex-boyfriend that I hadn't seen in over 12 
years.
