If Only

If only I could see.

I see who I think I am and yet it different then how you see me.

If only I could see.

I see all the things I’ve done wrong yet I can never see all the accomplishments I’ve had.

If only I could see.

I see the flaws when it come to the chocolate coloring of my skin but I never see the beautiful freckles sprinkled across my chest or my almond shaped eyes holding endless brown depths.

If only I could see.

The sad things is that I do see me, I just choose to ignore it
