If Only
If Only
If only they knew what
You mean to me, mum.
If only their hearts could speak our language,
To spill what you champion for us?
If only they could open to listening to us,
They could not point out the finger...
As calm and polite, your voice soothes,
like waves crushing the angry shores.
If only they knew am not that demon they say,
They could open to listening to us,
And, they could not point out the finger...
If only they knew the pain we were,
And the breeze of calm, we give in talking.
If only they knew,
How hard it waves to bring,
The peace on tormented heart?
If only they could open to listening to us,
They could not point out the finger...
I say, if only they could know me,
