If Man Could, If I Could, But I Will

If man could stop time.... Would he?
If he could move the mountains- And rearrange states.... Would he?
If he could own the sky- And postion the stars.... Would he?
If he could silence the world- And harness true love.... Would he?

If I could stop time I would do it, Only so my days with you would never end.
If I could rearrange states and move moutains I would do it, Only so I could be
right next to you and Not a mountain would be there to block my veiw
If I could own the sky and poition the stars I would do it, Only so our love could
sore high And use the light from the stars to find each other
If I could silence the world and harness true love I wld do it, Only so you could hear
me say I love you And offer you that true love you've search for

But because I am not God, I will count the seconds with you, only so they'd so
slower
I will cross states and overcome mountains to be by your side
I will write your name across the sky And stare at twinkle only your eyes can make
I will listen hard and speak louder And I will always offer you the true love you o'so
rightfuly deserve
