If It's Only Time
If it's only time you need...
time to think and wonder
where this love is going
will it be enough
or will you want more?
If it's only time you need,
take it, but not too long
it moves forward quickly
never pause or hesitating
and if we're not careful
it will be gone in a flash.
If it's only time you need
I give it to you freely
but when the moment's gone
there is never a chance of going back
only the memory
of what could have been.
