If I Wrote You a Song

If I wrote you a song
Would you sing along
Or would you tell me I’m wrong
You don’t sing! be gone!

You’re a tall order
You need order
Are you on the border
Just come out of your corner

Let me write you a song
It can be short or long
Then give it a spin
See if you grin

You don’t want a song
Oh I think you’re wrong
I hope you come around
Cause you really need a sound

You sit sipping your tea
Do you have company
Do you feel serene
If not then let’s dream

Let me write you a song
It can be short or long
Then give it a spin
See if you grin

Who doesn’t want to grin??
Grinning’s a win
Are you checking your sound?
Ok, so start now ;)

C. A., I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket but I'd be glad to whistle along. Fun poem. John
