If I Were Your Only Love
If I were your only love
How would you prove it so
With elegance and trust
The truth would you bestow
To show me a millennia
Of stars within your eyes
To hold me comfortably
As I let myself cry
The pain of past transgressions
Would fade like summer days
You and I would make love
As if we never aged
If I were your only love
How would I know its true
That your heart belongs o me
And mine belongs to you
You swear to keep me safe
To never let me come to harm
You promise that when Im weak in the knees
You'll wrap me in your arms
So tell me now my Darling
If your words are true
Am I your only love
What Do I mean to you?
