If I Were Immortal
Immortality in a physical world
Will be definitely hard ‘though impossible
It’s only on movies as fantasy unfurls
Such as war robots or zombies in curse
Or scary ghost where our breath gets hold.
Immortality in a physical world
Will surely be an everlasting anguish
Getting older or weaker…death be our wish
Forever young makes us probably childish
Unimaginable earth’s life, I think it would.
But if I were immortal in this world
I would be at war zones, a brave soldier
Catching bombs and missiles to save people
Draining enemies’ armory, so simple
Like terminator movies where strengths unfold.
But there’s no other immortality in this world
Than God’s words feeding eternally our soul
If we live in God’s words, listen and obey His call
We’ll inherit Heaven's Kingdom, His immortality is whole
For our eternal life is only in Jesus, our Savior-Lord.
