If I Were a Tree
If I were a tree,
I would stand stalwart and strong.
Branches bending,
But not breaking.
Roots sinking deep into the ground,
Enduring through the seasons,
Sheltering from the storm.
If I were a treem
I would adorn the world.
With pungent blossoms,
Penetratingt the air
With succulent sents
While delighting everyone's senses.
