If I Was President

If I was president I would teach all the prisoners to read.
form a committee of ten who had my back.
put cameras on every street corner so it would be more difficult to sex traffic
ask them to read my memos and decide how I should spend my afternoons.
follow their lead and take their advice
call up presidents, queens and kings and let them know I am friendly.
invite them to tea, but mention they have to wear two masks and a shield.
join the WHO if the last president was stupid enough to withdraw from it
form a task force to fix the water in Detroit and make sure it is fixed
abolish the Electoral College so we could be a democracy
fire the congressmen and senators who have been there since the Ice Age
make a rule whatever health program they had is good enough for the peons
get the ex-presidents to open clinics and inoculate everyone with the vaccine
make a law for year-round school, which would eliminate many bad teachers
go on television and ask everyone to donate their organs when they die
explain how many people this would help, and you cannot use them any way
instruct cities to plant communal gardens to feed the people who are hungry
give a dog to every child, even if their parents object.
give a grandma and grandpa to each child, even if I have to be that grandma.
declare myself queen on Wednesdays and do whatever I want allowing
the V.P. to be president one day a weeks which would be great practice.
