If I Tell You My Dreams
If I never tell you about my dream
Am I hiding, how does it seem?
Maybe not just to let the demons stream
If I weren’t to tell you about my dream.
If I dream about your feline grace
Am I to bold if I look into your face?
Maybe because you leave a happy trace
Touching my heart with its gentle lace
If you were listen to my dream, quietly
Would you pass judgment very gently?
Maybe my dream makes me feel intently
Because the subconscious spurs me urgently?
If I were to share my dreams with you
Am I safe in your confidence to be true?
Do I free my mind like balloons in the blue
Rising to the clouds, as if passing on through.
I think I will be happy to share my dream
Free up my mind, whether to dance or scream
Maybe it’s the glow of your eyes that gleam
For if I tell you my dreams will it be extreme?
If I can confide my dream, will you analyze
Look upon them with your beautiful eyes?
Maybe it is the thing I seek, the greatest prize
Bringing us together, leaving behind all guise
