If I Stop

If I stop and look upon
The eagle flying free
The sunlight on a bubbling brook
Or buds upon the tree

If I stop and look upon
The insects on the ground
My open eyes can see the secret
Wonders all around

If I stop to look upon
And ponder what I see
The glories of creation
Make a better man of me
