If I Proposed

If I got down on one knee and pulled out my ring box and asked "will you marry me?" would you say yes or would you think I’m stupid?
Still on my knees holding that ring box pouring out my heart why I want you to say yes. I see your brown eyes twinkle and my heart flutters fast I began to shake like a leaf waiting to fall.
Your thoughts I can’t read your silence I can’t stand. It’s deafening you see and it also taunts me how long must I be on my bending knee holding this ring box with tears in my eyes.
At the point of giving up you lift me up and kissed me dearly and then you went down on your knees. Pulled out your own ring box and said "baby will you marry me" listening to you with tears in my eyes i whispered "yes my honey dew, yes I will marry you
