If I only knew.....
how all of this would end.
Would it change my thoughts of you?
Would you become my friend?
If I only knew.....
how much time that we've got.
Could I let my guard down?
Could I take that shot?
If I only knew.....
You wanted to know me.
That would make the difference.
It's what I just can't see.
The only thing I really know
is that you are too late.
I've tried to beg, to cry and scream.
This life may just be fate.
