If I Only Knew....
My heart skips a beat and I shudder with bliss,
If I only knew, back then, that Our Love , could be like this...
It was ok back then, as I sit and reminiss,
How you've perfected your love and especially your kiss.....
Each of your kisses is like the very first time,
If I had only known, this love, so devine......
I long for you from my head to my toes,
Seems I've loved you for a lifetime only heaven knows.....
I cannot change the past or predict our future in any way,
All I know is that my love for you grows stronger everyday....
If only I knew how truly awesome you'd be,
I could thank the stars up above for returning you to me.....
Thank you for being honest and true,
Thank you my love, for just being you........
