If I Only Could

If I only could
Oh yes I wish I could
Like a drop of water
Invade the world
To see how the fishermen work
And witness their brotherhood
To know the secret
Of the magic sky
It is blue
I want to know why
I want to know if that is true.
Everlasting I wish to be
The miserable future I want to see
For I believe it is easier
To be but a drop of water
Observing the world from up above
Than to be aware that I’m alive
Among the cruel and the devastated
Unable to make things better
Unable to derive.
