If I Once Made You Smile, Remember
*IF I ONCE MADE YOU SMILE,... REMEMBER*
If I once dropped by to give you roses
And I no longer ring your doorbell lately
Please buy a Cologne and gift to me
My palm may be sore with thorns wounds
Remember we all deserve sweet fragrance
If we ever went out for lunch with the bills on me
If you don't see me go for lunch again in the name of fasting
Do good and drop a takeaway pack for me
I may just be broke and not saying it
Remember we don't deserve to starve to death
If you ever put up in my crib and we had dinner together
If I no longer invite you for supper
Do well to knock on my door
The journey I told you may be a lie
I may now be on the Street homeless
Remember we all deserve a place to lay our heads
If I ever cracked jokes for you to laugh
And I now wear long face all day
Could you please take me out to the park
I might have soaked my pillow all night
The tears are hidden under the glands for now
Remember we all deserve happiness
If I once made you smile
It is time to do the same
I can't be the hero all by myself
I need you just like you need me
The sun don't rise all day
Be the light to my path at my sunset
If I once made you smile
Remember this is the time to do the same
