If I Lost My Sight
It is a short work week.
Yet I have taken the day off.
Feeling guilty?
No.
Driving my first and last husband to the doctor.
He is having trouble seeing.
I cannot fathom anything worse.
Being an artist.
If I lost my sight….
I do not want to think about it.
All of my hobbies involve sight.
I enlist it, enable it, enthuse it.
Count on it
Depend on it.
Driving him to the doctor is the least I can do.
