If I Knew

If I knew it was the last time.
I would have kissed your cigarette lips
and curled your ringlets on my fingers
If I knew it was the last time.
I would have brushed your skin against mine
and kept the key for your scent
If I knew it was the last time.
I would have wrapped around so tightly
and looked into your soul
I would have told you that your the love of my life
and you make me feel whole.
