If I Had a Daughter

If I had a daughter, she would be the gorgeous image of Jehovah's favor. Even her adornment- marked by love and her compassion. She would be a modest woman loved forever by Jehovah. If I had a daughter, she would be protected. I would never give her over to a man who doesn't love her. She would have my deep affection. When she calls me, I will answer. I would listen, I would teach her with Jehovah's guidance. If I had a daughter, I can't picture her abandoned. Rather I would have her know she has a happy, loving father and she has him forever.
