If I Didn't Love You

If I didn’t love you, I wouldn’t hurt as I do now.
I wouldn’t be in this hopeless situation.
I wouldn’t have to hide and keep so many secrets.
I would be able to think ten thoughts without you taking up nine of them.

If I didn’t love you, I wouldn’t lose so much sleep.
I wouldn’t have to worry about what is going to happen.
I wouldn’t have to lie to so many people.
I would be able to give you up.

But I do love you.

I love you enough for all the trouble to be more than worth it.
I love you enough to never want to let you go.
I love you enough to do anything to keep you close.
I love you enough to stay by your side no matter what happens.

I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
