If I Could Turn Back Time Contest
A Clock I built for my Daughter In Law
These old hands of time are running slow
Ben Gay has become my best friend
Now oil is dripping from my main spring
My cabinet is tarnished when I look in the mirror
I use face cream as polish
My pendulum now swinging slower
If I could only turn back the time
It would be the first time you wound me up
My gears were smooth with plenty of oil and my spring was strong
Our chimes would always strike at the same time
My cabinet was smooth and my face would shine
Oh how I wish I could turn back theses hands of time
And not have worked so much over time
Contest: If only we could turn back the hands of Time
