If I Could Just Recall

Annoyed at the blank screen
  minutes dribble down my chin

If I could just recall
  how a planet forms --
heavy rains beat me
  to the door

No, no, no.
  She's not home

Hours later
  where have you been
a rooster crows
  lusting away

I love picturing you staring for hours and hours, annoyed by people and roosters.

Actually underwear that's too tight beats roosters for irritation. ~ Chafing away

Reminds of the phrase - the roster crows at midnight! "Minutes dribble down my chin," "a roster crows lusting away!" The flow and imagery are so vivid with many double entendres, Gerson. Enjoyed this very much

You need a time cloth for that chin. Rejoice the soup is back, no more blank screen. Tom

I'm still giving this one some thought, Gershon. You lost me somewhere between the rain and the crow of a lusty rooster. However; "minutes dribble down my chin" is a fantastic phrase.

You've heard of a scarecrow, right? Well this is a 'rain-crow.' Pretty scary, eh?! lol. ~ Dorothy and the Tinman
