If I Could Fly

If I could fly
A thousand miles
If I could try
I’d be by your side

The words and rhymes
That fill my heart
Were spilling out 
Right from the start

And though you’re gone
My heart beats strong
The words still write
There’s more to type

The story’s on par
We’re in the stars
There are no bounds
You’re always around

I dream the dreams
Of a lover, it seems
I wait for you 
My love is true
