If I Could...

I live by the sea
as content as I could be
I feel the wind in my hair
without no worries or a care

But what I would give
to have more of life to live
would you settle for content
It's greedy I confess

But what if I had a chance
for a shot at romance
maybe a wish or two or three
and I will show how life should be

If I could have a wish
Oh how that would be swish
the things that I could wish for!
All the things I could explore!

If I could I would
it would do a lot of good
I could wish for boar
that could fly and soar
or maybe even a cat
that wanted to be a rat
That would wear a massive hat
and sit on a bigger mat

Maybe I could wish for love
that was reached way up above
with signs of cupids and a dove
and we fitted like hand and glove
never having to push and shove
because it was more than puppy love

I could even wish for good sense of fashion
that could even be my passion
but i would have compassion
for those who had no sense of fashion

Oh dear, I am getting ahead
I do not have a tear to shed
for all the time that i left behind
for three wishes for me to find

Oh but if I could...
