If I Could

If I Could

In this time of innocence
The blood is falling just like rain
And you know when I look at you
I can feel and touch your pain.

I can see your smiling face
Always in my memory
But you know one day that I
Will come and take you home with me

If I came to you, I would
Put you under my wing
Bring you home with me
And we’d have everything
But I can’t do that
No I can’t do that

If I could be anywhere
I would be right by your side
We could face just anything
And you wouldn’t need to ever hide

If I could do anything
I would come and rescue you
And I know that one day we
Will always be together
