If I Can

If I can endure for this moment
whatever may happen to me,
no matter how sore my heart is
or how dark the moment may be.

If I can remain calm and quiet
with everything crashing around me,
I would be save for the Lord loves me
when everyone turns there backs on me.

If I can keep on believing
what I know in my heart is true,
that the Lord died for me
than I am His, for I'm his child.

If I can see a star twinkling
than I'll know it is Him winking,
I'll know that He keeps an eye on me
and save I am to be.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
