IF GOODBYE HAD A HEARTBEAT

One beat at a time
How would the heart respond?
Steady or slow
Fast pace or just let go
Goodbye would be hard to face
Timing in everything with a pace
The moment
Quick answers having no time for questions
Goodbye being as time went by
Living and Striving at every try
Little time to spare
Counting heartbeats
One life one everlasting
Goodbye with its own accelerating speeches in beats
Heartbeats always remember
Goodbyes simply give up.

Now that's worth thinking about " if goodbye had a heatbeat" - I 🤔 it would be dependent on whether you where going or being left behind. Slow and painful for the one left behind. Maybe erratic for the one departing.💕💔🩺⏳️
