If For a Moment

Upset
I can't control
The outset

Jealous
Carefully meandering
Through the brevity

Sad
Crying over
An abandoned lover

Numb
Feeling empty inside
I try to hide

Callous
Hard as stone
Yet never alone

Happy
If but for a moment
When I think of you.
