If Birds Do It

Morning Exercises:

I watch a flock of birds
stretch their wings and Fly.
They swoop and dip and dive,
exercising in the sky.
If birds do it, lazy me,
why don't I?

If I was as graceful as the birds or even your words describing them, then I might try a morning exercise.

Yes, I pray God gives us the strength to add more exercise to our day. If it is only walking around the block. Our bodies will thank us. Thanks, Monterey~~~~~~~Blessings, Darlene

Always wonderful to watch a flock of birds wheeling around in the sky. This makes a lovely image for 'Morning Exercises'~Delice

I hope this stirs you out of your slumber and catapults you to the heavens - like the birds! 7+

After reading this, I have to ask myself the same question. I can't fly, but I could sure use some more exercise! An excellent rhyme, Darlene...hugs, Rhonda

Why not indeed... spread your wings and fly, your destiny is but to try. Emile.

Thanks, Jan, and yes you do spread your poetic wings in your writing. While birds do morning exercises in the sky, we stretch our poetic muscles and bend over our computers. ... my best to you, Darlene
