If Anything At All
should my voice fade in your ears
and my love vanish in your memory
it is then I will come gain
although time may hide me yet again
I will seek your understanding
brief are my days amongst you
and briefer still
the words I have spoken
I shall go with the wind
but not down to the emptiness'
and not in vain
I will always seek you again and again
if aught I have said is truth
that truth shall reveal itself
in a clearer voice
and in words more kin to your own thoughts
now I go with the wind
and if this day is not a fulfilment of your needs
and my limitless love
then let it be a promise til another day
as your developing needs change
I will constantly surround
know therefore from the greater silence
I shall always return
