If a Book Were a Burrito

If a book were a burrito, hot off the press,
I'd eat it bite by bite, I guess;
but, I'd do more than savor every bite.
I'd boil a pot of beans and begin to write
a novel of distinction, served up hot with rice,
and in the sexy parts, I would add some spice.
