If
If we could view that Heavenly City
With all its wonders fair,
We’d be unfit for this world down here,
Filled with earthly toil and care.
All of the mansions and wondrous delights
Of this earth would pale if we could compare,
We would not wish to wait another day for Heaven,
We’d be searching for those Golden Stairs.
