If

If I'm standing here without you now,
Its because I know you dont know how,
To appreciate just how I feel,
Coming from the part I let you steal...
If I gave it to you in your hand,
And you let it flow away like sand,
Then you must be just another dream,
Disappearing in the glass like steam...
If you're catching up then its too late,
All the patching up has sealed your fate,
Now the ground that you are standing on,
Crumbles slightly now that I am gone...
If you realize whats you're mistake,
Better hope and pray that I will wait,
Since the heart you took and threw away,
Has grown another one to take it's place...
And If the moment that you're reading this,
I have sewn it with that one last stitch,
Then I'm no longer standing at that cliff,
So much stronger when you left me with...
