If If your love was a flower that bloomed in the spring, Would I be enough to secure it with what the harsh winter brings? Could I view it in the mornings before picking it in the fall? Place in the warmth, would it continue to grow tall? If your beauty was a shower that fell upon the earth, Could its wetness quench my endless thirst? Could I drink upon it from my endless glass? Would my dryness be of the past? If your kindness was a band-aid I placed upon a cut, Would it be strong enough to pull my broken heart shut? Would the healing be within my sight?
