If

If there was a way

That I could go back in time

I would fly back

 to the memories

of my mind

And hold you in my arms

stop the clock from turning

and never

let it take you from me again

For although today’s sun is shining

it does so because it’s laughing

at all those memories

that I now hold so dear

Those memories that now

roll down my cheek

Those memories that flow

 in every tear

Yes I would give

All that I own

To have that time back

I would give

All that I own

To hold you close

and tell you I love you

once again

Yes if there was a way

I could have those days

Come back to me

I’d get it right

And never let you go

I would give

everything I own

If somehow

I could tell you

I should have never let you go
