Idyllic Discovery
An amazing night
one so short,
our time, never lasting
long enough.
Your sweet lips
warm and soft
upon my own.
Slowly, the map unfolded
one stitch at a time
to reveal a beauty
known by so few.
A rare commodity
held by me alone.
Your need, as great
as my own.
Our passion, all consuming
devouring our souls.
Merging into one being
our minds devoid of all else,
engrossed in one another.
Eagerly I did consume you
one morsel at a time.
Each flavor engraved into my memory
for all time.
Slowly, reality called us back
returning us to our worlds
in which we live,
we will be
two souls walking
the same paths, parallel
until the next time.
