Idolization In Death
When one is alive all his/her faults are apparent,
Their presence is rarely appreciated,
Folks spend time with them, killing hours,
All their shortcomings are highlighted,
and blown out of proportion,
As soon as they depart from this life,
Their name is held in high regard,
Their popularity subject to distortion,
Every memory is precious and sentimental,
All the negatives are suddenly forgotten,
Idolization begins........,
Every word, action or deed is memorialized
forever, even the naysayers come forth with
fondness,
In death, one is raised above reproach.....
