Idiotic Protector
If you knew that the pain you inflict makes me a nervous wreck,
it would murder you,
you have good intentions,
you’re very protective of me,
but you can be such an oblivious idiot sometimes,
and I’m the forgiving fool that lets you back in every time,
I passionately loath the way I can never be angry with you,
when will you realize that I’m the only person in this universe foolish enough to put up
with your idiocy?
How is it that my protector is causing me more harm than good?
The irony in this amuses me,
the more our complicated relationship consumes my thoughts,
the more I realize that he’s a mystery that’s better left unsolved,
this is how it was meant to be,
he’s my idiot and I’m his fool.
