Sorry, but Kamala Harris is the VP to the Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Armed Forces. Of course, Biden and Harris ought to salute our servicemen (protocol or no protocol). The pity of it is that neither Harris nor Biden (nor Trump, nor Obama, etc.) ever served in the military, and neither (none) of them has any business whatsoever being Commander-in-Chief.

And rightly so. Most military consider it an insult, a smart-assed retort, when non-military salute.

I hear ya. I, too, question how one can become C-I-C through ballot box without having served in the military. Bad choices, for the military. As to "most schoolgirls know better," I doubt it, Gershon. I had to remind two of them today that a mask does no good whatsoever hanging around their chins in a room full of otherwise properly masked patrons. Oh, well....they looked at this old dude like, "W-T-F business is it of yours?" But, when my health is at stake, it's my business! Gershon, I will always respect your opinion, even if I don't necessarily agree. Got that?

If she can't take the heat, she can get out of the kitchen... btw, I've long maintained that no one should be C-I-Chief who's never tasted the military. So, the last President qualified for C-I=C was George Bush, Sr. Given today's reality, C-I-C ought to be separate from the Presidency, unfortunately. ~ Just sayin', gw
