Ideals

The stars wink above in the heavens high, I look for Mars, Venus, and lil' Pluto; Planets I see but cannot journey go, Glad still I know that they are in the sky. The moon revolves around my little world; The white beams that forever freely shine, But I cannot ever truly call mine - Are dearer than things I can hold uncurled. I'm glad I can see all the Milky Way, Though I cannot soar beyond Jupiter; I’d feel more burdened and far stupider, If I couldn’t dream and the sky survey. To view ideals outside my evolve, Helps hope every barrier to resolve. 15/5/2017
