I'D Like To Leave Me
I’d like to leave me,
but where would I go?
The outside and inside,
they both ... each other know
I’ll just be around here,
if I really need me
Wrapped up in attitude,
a feisty me ... to be
I’m having a break-up,
I’m reaching for the star
Forget all that nonsense
so and so ... is from Mars
I’ll chart my Diva Course,
just morals to follow
Make a new effort
try to save ... a dollar
I’m walking in footsteps,
left on my heart and soul
I’m going to kick butt,
be I ever ... so bold
Not who you think I am,
who you’d like me to be
I’m free of your judgments
for I know ... God likes me
Out I’ll go tomorrow,
I’m facing life anew
Relearning how to live,
with me…..without you!
