I'D Like To Know

I'd like to know... 
How far we'll go
In the selling off 
Of our souls 

With lives at play
Everyday
How much more
Will we give away

I'd like to know... 
Before I give up hope
How far down
The rabbit hole we'll go

As life's ladder 
Loses it rungs
Where greed is equal 
To the sum

I'd like to know... 
How far we'll go
Before we reap 
The seeds we've sown

From trying to do
It all on our own
Then again maybe
I don't want to know
