I'D Choose You
If our time suddenly were to rewind
and our end becomes another beginning
would you still choose me
to lead you on a life-long journey
through a thousand glorious sunrises
walking hand in hand
one step at a time towards the promised land
where everyday feels like our first
and butterflies flutter and flirt with
the simple but beautiful daisy
would you still choose me
to grant you a thousand uplifting smiles
to be your playful touch
the one to bring out that child inside
the one that hides while you seek
the one who makes the music
you dance to playing in your mind
If our time suddenly were to rewind

to be the one in your every waking thought
the one who warms your heart when you are cold
who walks with you arm and arm into the setting sun
and to be the one you'll want at your side as you grow old
for if I was the one that had to choose
without hesitation, my love, I'd choose you
