7/8/17 Many things did and didn't surprise me Among objects of a colossus size or tiny Some of which dark and others shiny Whether it occurred around afternoon or nightly Done foolishly and wisely Areas hot or icy Items marked as cheap or pricy Food that is mild or spicy People nearly dead or lively Opportunities that have no risk or are dicey Near forest with or without ivy Some didn't care and others did when it came to being all high and mighty Nearly full or empty So god damn wealthy or down to the last penny Sickly or healthy Whether older or younger than twenty With a hand that is shaky or steady Not at all prepared or ready With or without a machete Whether or not it had to do with something light or heavy It was carried out incorrectly or effectively Areas considered clean or messy On either side of the eddy Close and beyond what is deemed safe or deadly
