Iced Tears

no shadows can dance
on these barren fields
when a somber sky cries
its icy little tears upon them

I want to be on a bus that inspires a poem like this!

one of the best parts of my job is all the unique scenery and wonderful offerings nature often gives...one may be able to see a sunrise from inside a building...but to be on a hill level with the plane of the horizon and see it breaking out over a tree with branches almost cradling it, or hearing the ice tick and watching it bounce off of something...some many things to see...

I almost created a new dance craze while walking across an icy parking lot... He said with a bruised and toothless smile...

It's drizzling here--gloomy too--so no shadows--you depicted the scene beautifully, Sandy.

That's right, make me cry again. : ) Beautiful Sandy, your poem (bus scribble) tugs at the heart.

thanks Chris...no need to cry... it's drizzling here but it's not rain, more like a frozen drizzle... no sun...hence no shadows
