Ice Fall

Torrents fixed by natures’ breath glisten in the Winter suns mirage. Aquamarine copper infusions, opaque as opal, descend with abandon granite cliffs. scared by man’s iron tools. Stop action terrors frighten passing denizens of day. Tangling brush and briar. Frost glazing quartz outcroppings. The ground below shows silver shards snapped ice tentacles. Unfed forms heart breaking Ice.

Deb, this one "feels' really cool. This kind of free verse I can pretty much "get" and I enjoy so much the imagery of it. I really like this one. If this one was in that contest for this form, I think you should have placed in the contest. (I'll talk to you more later in soup mail) Luv, Andrea
