The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Ice Cream Truck

an ice cream truck pulls up at the block
and kids have gathered with their demands
to ask the guy who sells the 'cold sweet thing'
to give them one to cool off in the afternoon

my mother would take us there
along with my sister who was fighting me before
to make us forget our stupid conversation
and peacefully enjoy the summer vacations
