Ice
Just a glare, constant and bare
it was lust, not trust nor love
not even a sweaty palm nor a tender carress.
It was cold frozen in time. vague memories of passion.
planned and timed to the esimated moment.
Not caring, no consequences to consider,
just chilled feelings.
Was lust, was lust that brought us together
this moment we do not and never will treasure,
our hearts we do not listen to.
the truth is our hearts are made of ice,
frozen stiff, and not beating at all
if we let everything go and drop it
it will break, so fragile, so fragile. A heart full of fear.
